Well, it's finally happened.

Yup, CC (Classical Consortium) now has an unofficial blog. Yeah, unexpected, I know. Anyway, this is where you can share any CC memories and stories, talk with friends, whatever. If you attend CC, you're more than welcome. Don't feel obliged to join, but don't let me or RB stop you. Don't even feel obliged to talk to either of us- we're kinda scary anyway ;) If you just want to connect with some friends, or see what others have to say, you've got free rein. Welcome to the unofficial CC blog.

P.S. This is a blog for YOU, CC students. Want to see something added to the blog? Just ask. Want to post? Just ask. I could continue, but this intro thingy is too long, anyway. ;) Enjoy!

Publicity Stunt

Lets face it. We do stupid stuff. Not just normal, plain-old, store-brand stupid. Im talking *facepalm*, "FAIL!", "Did you just seriously...?" stupid. They say change is the spice of life? I really think it could be stupidity :D
Its just like a 6th sense to us, as humans. Towns name themselves Google. Politicians worry about tipping islands with troop movements. Paul makes smores with "graham crappers". Parents fake sending their kid up in an experimental weather balloon. A kid brings a rock from his fish tank to be carbon-dated, and the scientists claim its over several million years old. Jacob locks himself out of class, and gets back in only in time to realise he needs to wash his hands. Brandon chugs Coke mixed with Tabasco.
That's off the top of my head... feel free to add. But the point Im dancing around here is this- stupid things usually get noticed. That's right, guess what I'm about to stoop to?

*dramatic pause*

Yeah, something stupid, of course <.< Enter the publicity stunt~
Im thinking of posting a link to Unofficial from CCSF, Buzz, and Facebook... Sooo if you're seeing this place for the first time and are wondering who the heck this annoying kid is who cant get to the point and uses emoticons in blog posts then... it probably means I decided yes. So to all you people who *have* been hanging around this blog, please (I would say that in several languages just to prove my point, if I knew how :0) let me know if I should open it up like that, any different ideas you might have, etc. The problem is, Im totally talking to myself right now, since all the people who used to come to Unofficial don't any more...

See, maybe I should give a little background, to anyone who actually does find this place and actually did read this far: The Unofficial CC Blog is pretty much just an informal place me and Ryan cooked up back in September to share stories, brainstorm, laugh at our (bizzare) CC family, etc ;) Im no pro-blogger, nor is RB. But, we try to stay active and give you some CC stories of our own, just kind of a slice of life (erm, grade?). Problem was, I temporarily became a love-sick hermit and totally fell down on the job. I didnt check up often, and slowly, people kinda gave up on Unofficial. Now Im back, and Im hoping to make it up. So that's where you people come in (new or old, if you've ever chanted "Good morrrning, Mrs. Burns", you're in ;) ). If you do check in, and plan to ever drop by again (you know, in the off chance RB and I didnt totally scare you off). Read some old stories from last semester, and guve your honest opinion up here. But the main focus of this blog is this: so long as you can write in intelligible English, ask RB or I, and don't totally bash any teachers or classes, YOU are Unofficial's next writer. You got something to say? Ask? Talk about? Drop some not-so-subtle hints and you can post any time. Remember- the more people we have posting here BESIDES me... the less weird this place gets. ;)

Okay, so... pretty much:
1. If you're new or old, and have got any interest in this place, leave a comment here- you might have to make a google account... only takes a minute though... NO STRINGS ATTACHED, I SWEAR <.< >.>
2. If you're old, give me some "Amen!"s or "Heck No!"s... I don't want to have to be stupid if everyone prefers me mild mannered, polite, and meek ;)
3. If you're new and have any interest... cruise around and read some old stuff. Tell us what ya think.
