Well, it's finally happened.

Yup, CC (Classical Consortium) now has an unofficial blog. Yeah, unexpected, I know. Anyway, this is where you can share any CC memories and stories, talk with friends, whatever. If you attend CC, you're more than welcome. Don't feel obliged to join, but don't let me or RB stop you. Don't even feel obliged to talk to either of us- we're kinda scary anyway ;) If you just want to connect with some friends, or see what others have to say, you've got free rein. Welcome to the unofficial CC blog.

P.S. This is a blog for YOU, CC students. Want to see something added to the blog? Just ask. Want to post? Just ask. I could continue, but this intro thingy is too long, anyway. ;) Enjoy!

Here's to You, Omnibus :D

Mkay, well, I've kinda been uncertain on what to post these days, BUT. I do believe I've got something. Yeah, that's right- a toast to the L2 Omnibus class, and the ever-benevolent Mrs. Anderson. Maybe I should explain?

Don't answer that, I need this to be a post. So there. ;)

Okay, so first, some examples...
1) We were discussing how the media usually portrays men and women. Everyone had something to say about how guys were portrayed- immoral heroes, invincible killers, total incompetents, feminized, etc... So, the "Guy" side of the board was filling up pretty fast. Obviously Mrs. Anderson noticed this, because she took a bit of a double take at the lopsided chart, then asked if anyone had a characteristic of women portrayed in the media. So Mike (who hasn't said much yet) decides he's tired of dancing around what we're all thinking, and calmly states: "Hot!" Yeah, we pretty much fell apart after that... ^-^;;

2. Week before that, we had an in-class debate about whether or not "good magic" exists. So, go figure, RB and I end up being the two presenting the opposing positions. We're on a pretty even playing feild, until Ryan completely starts agreeing with me on everything. He was just an "AMEN" and tablesmack short of being my congregation. ^^

3. Recently did an in-class reinactment of Macbeth... complete with a totaly drunken, Scottish PH as the Porter (swinging around his empty bottle of Snapple!). Of course, that wasn't all... Jacob was given the part of Malcolm, so he strolls into class wearing a camo-snuggie and a paper Burger King crown- with "prince" written over king. And our witch scene was so intense, Mike fell out of his chair! (Maybe he was just supplying the thunder in the background? Hmm...)

4. And just last Monday, we got to sit through a short story written by Hannah, about our class being dispatched by Mrs. Burns to Springfeild (to retrieve 1 million dollars, a pass for no homework, and the Holy Grail of course), being factionalized into two vans, Carter doing some serious acrobatics, Jacob weilding a nuclear arsenal from the back of his Longboard, Maddi driving a van into a ditch, Rebecca slapping people in the face, and Andrew hijacking an unpronouncable high-end racecar. Life is good.

So yeah... that's all I got for now... but. Hopefully this will spark an Unofficial revival! So long as we can get PH to post an old memory from last year, Andrew (Rot) to provide some R1ish stories, and Rebecca to add to all the L2 stuff... I'm sure RB will be happy to provide the tablesmacks and AMENS. ;)
